Tajikistan

Tajikistan is a country of sky mountains known as Pamir. Even its name reflects the main idea of the meaning of the word, which sounds like ‘roof of the world'. Our company is happy to introduce you this amazing country. Tajikistan is surrounded by such neighbors as Kyrgyzstan, China, Afghanistan and Uzbekistan. The land has seen many historical events and it has been nearly 100 hundred years since the nomadic Tajik people settled down and gave up their old way of living and roaming in the mountains. They have amazing culture and traditions which they still keep. During your tours you can learn more about them and get acquainted with local people. Tajikistan is a mountainous country with more than 90 % of them. So if you plan to travel here, you should be ready for high altitudes. The places along the Pamir Highway and Wakhan corridor won't be lower than 2,500 meters above sea level. However, during your tours you are going to be astonished by the landscape along the villages of Langar, Yamchun, Ishkoshim and Khorog. Tajikistan is a country of amazing mountain lakes which you must not miss during your tours. They are Seven Lakes and Iskanderkul lake in the Fann mountains, which you can visit travelling between Dushanbe and Khujand. Ruins of ancient civilizations and remains of fortresses and city walls can be found in Penjakent, Sarazm and Hissor.
