Day 1: Nur Sultan
Today you will arrive to Nur Sultan. Nur Sultan is a modern, dynamically developing city with a rich historical and cultural heritage. This day you will observe a lot of main attractions. You will see not only ancient monuments, but also modern ones. In course of the tour you will fascinate the Constitution Square, then the President of the Republic Nursultan Nazarbayev declared the new capital of Astana. The tour route will take you to historical attraction Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan* with the Golden man, which was discovered in 1970, 50 kilometers from Alma-Ata as a result of excavations of the Issyk mound, which reached a height of 6 meters and a diameter of 60 meters. This day you will admire shopping center Khan Shatyr, unique architectural structure. Stylized as a Kazakh Yurt, it is a huge transparent tent 150 m high. You will also go the elevator to the top of the Astana-Baiterek monument, in this place you will explore the amazing panorama of the city. Day 2: Nur-Sultan - Almaty
The tour route will lead you to the International Nur-Sultan airport, and transfer to Almaty by (about 1h 40 min on the way). After arrival you will meet and then drive to the city. You are going to have a city tour today. You will start the excursion with the Green Bazaar, where you will feel the beauty of the East and will be able to feel the atmosphere of the Bazaar. After that you will follow the trail to one of the oldest Almaty parks - Panfilov Park. After you will see the enchanting building Zenkov Cathedral a unique building built using a special technology. During the tour you will see the Memorial of Glory and Eternal Flame, which was erected in honor of the fighters who gave their lives for freedom of the country. Then you will be driving to the Medeo Gorge, famous for its ice rink and dam that protects the city from the mudslide. You will drive to hotel for overnight.
Day 3: Almaty
You are going to have a journey today to the Medeu Gorge the world's largest high-altitude winter sports center. Its center is built in 1972 "forge of records" - one of the largest (10,5 thousand square meters) skating rinks in the world for speed skating, lying at an altitude of 1691 meters above sea level, surrounded by three mountain ranges. You are going to stroll around and take pictures of picturesque mountains. Discover the beauty of fir trees and breathe the fresh mountain air, after you will have a ride in the cableway get to the Shymbulak ski resort area. After you will move down by cableway. In course of the tour you will direct to the next point the top of Kok-Tobe hill, where is located famous TV Tower. The TV tower was built between 1975 and 1983 and is 372 m high. You will have a chance to explore the territory of the park and adore the majestic panorama view of the city. From the top, you can enjoy an amazing panorama of the mountains and the city. Kok-Tobe is not only the charm of the mountains, fresh, clean air and a sense of freedom, it is also a place to walk, search for Souvenirs. You will end the tour with ride from the cableway and observe the fascinating panorama of the city. *(it is closed on Tuesdays, so you will go down by park eco-buses). You will drive to the hotel for overnight.
Day 4: Almaty - Tamgaly - Almaty
You will observe today the ancient monuments of the past - Tamgaly petroglyphs. At this unique intersection of ancient roads, already in the Bronze Age, more than 3000 years ago, there was a mountain sanctuary with thousands of petroglyphs that decorated the surface of the rocks of the small Tamgaly canyon. Tamgaly petroglyphs are the most important scientific source and have, in addition, great artistic value. The most famous images in the tract are drawings of the Buddha. In addition to images of animals that lived here, such as the spotted bull and deer, you can find drawings of mythical animals, such as unicorns. A famous drawing is called "Philosopher" or "Sage". Petroglyphs of later centuries are supplemented with inscriptions made in ancient Turkic runes. On some rocks, you can see on one side rock carvings of the Bronze Age, on the other - inscriptions made by participants of the first Buddhist missions in Kazakhstan. Night will be in the hotel.
